The Fleeting Illusion of Safety

The Ghost Illusion by Kerry Watts
The main ingredient in this cocktail of murder, fright and fun: psychology. It’s rare that a novel effectively (and believably) depicts the true emotions of the health professional that are responsible for serial killers, but “The Ghost Illusion,” does just that. And it does it well. You’ll feel as though you’ve sat with a killer in their padded room of a locked ward before this novel’s most horrible criminal is even identified. It also must be said that the ending of this turbulent tale is absolutely BANGING! Definitely a book for anyone who enjoys being smashed with a barrage of action.

Highlights!

The ending: It is, at once, brave and astounding.

Psychology: Many titles throw the word psychological into the description (as in psychological crime thriller) and this book delivers.

Gore: Kerry Watts writes violence very well and that’s a serious talent in this genre.
